As an idea, OHD came into existance sometime around 1980, when a group of three high school friends decided to abandon what they considered to be the conventional musical cliches of the day, and work together to create a new, ground breaking experiment using their own, decidedly NON-conventional ideas. They originally collected to put down their ideas to tape in a veriety of places (bedrooms, unoccupied houses, the outfield bleachers at Anaheim stadium, etc). Upon graduation from school, they set about recording their first and only album... a cassette-only release entitled "Lame Yo-yo" which contained outtakes recorded during the previous couple of years and several newer selection. It was a tremendous hit with the few people who have ever heard it.
